SHARON RHODES

Sharon Kay Smith Rhodes of Buena Vista went home on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, with her family by her side. 

She was born March 26, 1959, in Buena Vista to Mildred Flint Smith and Freddie Smith.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Patrick Eugene Rhodes. 

She leaves behind her daughter, Stephanie Rhodes Tyree and husband, Jeff; her son, Christopher Leon Rhodes; her grandson, Dylan Patrick Tyree and granddaughter, Britney Nicole Tyree; sisters, Cindy Thompson, Kathy Garber, Teresa Crouch and Kim Pooley; and brother, Lee Smith; special nieces, Hilary Garber, Becky Staton, Ashley Lotts and Katrina Phillips; and special cat, Aaron.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at MarlbrookBaptist Church in Raphine by Pastor John Tilley.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
