Born Oct. 2, 1955, he was a son of the late Jewett Mitchell Ramsey Sr. and Rosa Dovie Newcomb Ramsey.

Also preceding him in death were a granddaughter, Kelsey B. Ramsey; and sister, Joanne R. Ellington.

He was retired machine operator at Mohawk Industries.

Surviving are his wife, Debra Shaw Ramsey; daughters, Jennifer L. Nicely, Elizabeth A. Ramsey, Samantha D. Ramsey andd Bridget R. Nicely; nine grandchildren and one greatgranddaughter.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, at Glasgow Cemetery by the Rev. W. David Bain.
