Larry Seaman

Larry Wayne Seaman, 76, of Buena Vista passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2025. 

He was born July 23, 1949, in Rockbridge County, the son of Clarence D. Seaman and Marie Lawhorn Seaman.

Larry was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served in Vietnam and Korea.

He will be remembered for the love of God, family and all things of nature.  Larry was a carpenter for years, commercial and self employed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James Seaman, Edgar Seaman and Cecil Seaman. 

Surviving is his wife of Wanda Seaman; stepchildren, Lynne Schley, April Cullen and Donald Schley Jr.; grandchildren, Brandon, Bradley, Brenan and Landon; siblings, Phyllis Wray, Clarence Seaman, (Wanda) and Jerry Seaman (Margaret); sisters-in-law, Betty Seaman of Lexington, Harriet Seaman and Betty Seaman of Bedford; several nieces and nephews; and a special fur baby, Kobe.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, at Green Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Dean Staton and Clarence Seaman.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
