KAY GINGER
Kay Frances Ginger, 91, of Natural Bridge Station died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025.
Born July 2, 1934, she was a daughter of Robert Francis Collins and Ethel Reynolds Collins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George William Ginger; son Steven Lewis Ginger; three brothers, Lawrence Collins, Earl Layne Collins and Frank Collins; and one sister, Jean Wines.
Kay attended the Christian Fellowship Church in Natural Bridge. She was a retired cafeteria worker with Rockbridge County Public Schools after many years of service.
Surviving are her son, George Michael "Mike" Ginger; grandsons Michael Ryan and Ian Stephen Graham; three great-grandchildren, Margaux, Adalaide and Collette; nephews Roy Wines and Howard Ray Wines; a niece, Carol Snead; and two very special ladies in her life, Marcie Dishman and Holly Hopkins.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Terry Bostic. Burial will follow at Glasgow Cemetery.
