JACQUELINE FLOYD

Born Nov. 1, 1947, in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of Cleo Wilson Davis and Rosie Arlene Robinson Davis.
She was a graduate of Lexington High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, James Marion Floyd III, and a brother, Stephen Douglas Davis.
Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Kathleen Floyd, and stepson, James M. Floyd IV; grandson, Bo Floyd; brotherin- law, Buster Lee Hardy; and nieces and nephews. Also surviving are special sister-in-law Ninita F. Ramsey; three special cousins, Carolyn Reid Bradley, Pamela Reid Mayo and Theresa C. Garrett; and many other special friends.
There will be a gravesite service on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 10 a.m. at Taft Hughes Family Cemetery in Amherst. To get there, take a right at the top of Long Mountain then continue for approximately 3 to 4 miles; the cemetery will be on the right.
