Margaret Edna Ayers Thompson of Lexington died Sept. 3, 2025.

She was born in Lexington Feb. 2, 1942, a daughter of Lacky R. Ayers and and M. Isabelle Ayers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Thompson Sr.
She is survived by her children, Curtis Thompson Jr. and Connie Forren; her brothers, Lacy Ayers and Thomas Ayers; her sister, Bessie Kirby; three grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
