KENNETH STUART
He was born on March 17, 1957, the son of Annie Lee Mc-Neil and the late Glen Stuart.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Wayne Stuart.
Kenneth proudly served in the United States Marines Corps. A dedicated and passionate community leader, he held the position of vice president of the local NAACP chapter and was actively involved in both CERT and Walker programs.
As a talented photographer and musician, Kenneth channeled his creativity into his own business, “Show Town LLC.” He served many years as the music coordinator for The Coffeehouse of Rockbridge County, where he joyfully shared his love of music with many.
He is survived by his mother, Annie Lee McNeil; his sister, Peggy Rucker, and her husband, Dillon Rucker Jr.; his fiancé, Gelinda Chisolm; his nieces Jessica McNeil and her husband Momodou Jallow, and Bettie Stuart; his nephew, Antwon Toliver; his stepson Percy Spinner; and his great-nephew Little Larry Stuart.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Rising Zion Baptist Church by the Rev. Ryan Hubbard. The viewing will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at the church. A reception will follow.
