CHARLES FLOYD

CHARLES FLOYD

Charles “Chuckie” Allan Floyd, 59, of Glasgow, passed away Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025. Chuckie was born March 10, 1966, to William “Bill” Floyd and the late Linda Hill. In his younger years, he was athletic and loved playing basketball, a passion he carried with him throughout his life. He is survived by his father, Bill, and stepmother, Elaine; his sisters, Kristy Floyd and Debbie Walker; his brothers, Brent Plogger and Leslie Floyd; his children, Amy Floyd, Stacy Floyd, Nickie Floyd and Charles “Peanut” Floyd; and his grandchildren, Dashawn Floyd, AJ Floyd, Benji Early, James Floyd, Joseph Floyd, Kaylee McKemy, and Lilly Floyd. In 1994, Chuckie was paralyzed in an accident that changed the course of his life. Even so, he showed remarkable strength and resilience. What defined him most was not his challenges, but his love – for his children, his grandchildren, his great-nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Princess. He was thoughtful, caring, and happiest when surrounded by family. Those who knew Chuckie will remember his big heart, his sense of humor, and his deep devotion to the people he loved. His story is one of endurance, love, and connection, and he leaves behind a legacy carried on in the many lives he touched. He will be missed more than words can say. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by Pastor Adam Williams. Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
