Born May 25, 1945, in Buena Vista, she was a daughter of Thurston “Dale” Rice and Luella Kessinger Rice.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Oliver Hazelwood Jr., and siblings Dale Rice, Nancy Rice Wills and Larry Rice.

Surviving are her children, Lisa Hazelwood, Jan Rogers (Freddie) and Kevin Hazelwood; six grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; sisters-in-law Mary Harrison, Patricia Hazelwood and Edna Hazelwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no service at this time.
