Born May 27, 1955, she was the daughter of Roy Delworth Mikels and Elaine Virginia Ayers Mikels.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Roy D. Mikels Jr., and sisters Theresa Broughman and Sharon Mason.

Surviving are her son, David W. Mikels, and brothers Timothy Mikels (Lisa) and Dana Mikels.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at Grace Chapel by Pastor Butch Grow.
