Born July 27, 1943, he was a son of Arles West and Regina Overend West.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his older brother, Frank West.

Jim was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. He also graduated from the University of Maryland and worked for over 30 years for the federal government. His hobbies included spending time in the gym, working on his cars and playing with his dog.

Surviving are his children, Jason West and Kelly West Rinaldi; grandchildren Jordan and Melissa; and a brother, Dave West.

There is no service scheduled at this time.
