Faye Simmons, 82, of Raphine died Friday, Aug. 1, 2025. She was born Aug. 27, 1942, a daughter of the late Amos Simmons and Isabel Campbell Simmons.

Also preceding her in death were her siblings Antha May Chapman, Martha Ann Simmons, Mary Alice Simmons, Glenn Edward Simmons and Robert Simmons.

Faye was a member of RockbridgeBaptist Church.

Surviving are her siblings William Clarence Simmons, Peggy Jean DeVore, Rachel Mae Whitzel, French Lee Simmons, Raymond Theodore Simmons, Ray "Bumpy" Simmons, James Amos Simmons, and stepsister Annie Miller and husband Larry.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Luther Witt and the Rev. Rodney Gibson. Burial will follow at High BridgeChurch Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
