Jacqueline S. “Jacque” Bare, 93, of Silver Spring, Md., died July 31, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by family. 

Jacque was preceded in death (by 14 months) by her loving husband of 70 years, Edgar R. “Bud” Bare. 

Surviving are her son Brian (Susan); daughters Katherine (Clay), Pamella (Robert), Betsy (Richard) and Alice; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, nieces and grand-nieces. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her siblings and a dear granddaughter. Jacque cherished her loving family. 

Jacque will be interned at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lexington alongside her husband and best friend, Bud. A private celebration will take place later.
