BOBBY FERGUSON
Born Sept. 19, 1961, in Lexington, he was a son of the late Richard Carleton Ferguson and Frances Mae Wallace Ferguson.
Bobby was employed by Washington and Lee University for 42 ½ years. He was a lifelong farmer and avid dirt track racing fan. Bobby was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Fay Clark Ferguson; son, Travis Ferguson (Jessica) of Natural Bridge, and daughter, Brittany Ferguson Bennington (Joshua) of Glasgow; two granddaughters, Ella Kate Ferguson and Olivia Mae Ferguson; sisters, Sandy Ferguson Taylor (Robert) of Goochland and Ann Ferguson of Glen Allen; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life was conducted Saturday, July 26, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by Lewis Coffey Jr. Interment followed at Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Zion Methodist Church, 671 North Dry Well Road, Natural Bridge, VA 24578.
