DEVEN SINGLETON

Deven was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Jan. 31, 1994, and raised in Eden, N.C. In 2010 he moved in with the Cash family in Rockbridge County for almost 15 years.
He held several jobs in his life, including house remodeling.
He was preceded by his first great-grandparents, Willie and Zella Williams; and his second great-grandparents, Arnold and Thenie Smith, Carrie Adams Pass and Willie G. Williams Sr., all formerly of Rockingham County.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, a daughter, Aaliyah Marshall of Glasgow, and a son, Torian Johnston of Roanoke; his mother, Dorian Price Miller of Eden; his father, Bryant K. Hampton of Bristol, Pa.; his siblings, Jasmine Price Pullum, Bryant Hampton Jr., Quentin Hampton (Lilya) and Shantell Price Carter, all of Philadelphia, and Kimberly Stevens of Danville; his grandparents, Pearl Williams, Agnes Hampton and Larry Hampton; stepparents John And Tammy Cash; stepbrother Michael; stepsisters Cindy and Michelle; grandmother Janie Hill; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
