JERRIE LAWHORNE
JERRIE LAWHORNE
Born June 30, 1937, in Staunton, she was the daughter of the late Noah Miller Crickenberger and Gladys Hughes Crickenberger.
Jerrie retired as a librarian from the Buena Vista Library and was a member of Calvary Brethren Church. Jerrie was an avid reader, poet, and self-published author of the book, “The Deer and I.”
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Lawhorne Sr.
Surviving are her children, Marty L. Coleman, Ginger L. Webb (Steve), and Robert F. “Chip” Lawhorne Jr. (Marcie); five grandchildren, Shane Coleman (Casey). Devin Coleman (Kelly), Milea Webb, Savannah L. Frongillo (Michael), and Robert F. “Trace” Lawhorne III (Emma); and three greatgrandchildren, Haley Coleman (Joseph), Logan Coleman, and Zachary Coleman.
A graveside service was conducted Friday, June 27, at Green Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Rick Ramsey.
