LARRY RILEY
He was born Oct. 17, 1954, in Lexington.
Larry graduated from Rockbridge High School and worked as an elevator mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Riley; brothers Kenneth and Charles R. Riley; and foster father Herbert L. Bowers.
Larry is survived by his birth mother, Fannie R. Throckmorton; foster mother Diane B. Needham; his wife of 51 years, Glenda Riley; sons Larry Jr. and Timothy, both of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and daughter Emily of Thompson Station, Tenn. Brothers are Thomas Riley of Fairfield and Dennis Riley of Buena Vista; sisters Patricia R. Camden of Buena Vista, Ellen R. VanNatten of Lexington; half brother Aubrey Throckmorton, half sister Tammy T. Allen, both of Richmond; foster brothers Daniel, Stephen, Timothy and Paul Bowers; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held June 20 in Murfreesboro, Tenn., with burial in the Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville, Tenn. NG
