Carol Wagner Fauber, 65, of Chester passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at VCU Hospital in Richmond surrounded by her loving family. Carol is the daughter of Frances P. Wagner and Robert B. Wagner Jr.

She was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents, Thelma and Curtis Patterson; paternal grandparents, Virginia and Bob Wagner; her in-laws, Betty and Frank Fauber; and sister, Edie Humphries.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Daniel “Danny” Fauber; her devoted sons, Michael and Mitchel; her sister-in-law, Penny Fauber; her brothers-in-law, Kevin Fauber (Nita) and Ronnie Humphries; her nephews, John Humphries and Seth Moore; and her nieces, Ann Humphries, Shaina Hartless, Morgan Becker and Hannah Carter. She also leaves behind a very special great-niece, Iris Humphries, and special friends, Dee Hargrave and Cheri McCall.

Carol grew up in Buena Vista and graduated from Parry Mc-Cluer High School in 1977. She was a member of the “Marching Blues” school band. She was employed by Chesterfield County Public Schools where she served as an office staff member at Carver Middle School until she retired. She enjoyed beach trips, thunderstorms and spending time with her sons. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and devotion to her friends and family.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Buena Vista Presbyterian Church on Friday, June 20, at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Howard Boswell. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. In keeping with Carol’s loving and generous spirit, the family requests that donations be made to Donate Life America.
