Christine Martin Terry, 75, passed away peacefully in her home in Glasgow on Sunday, June 8, 2025.

She was born on Dec. 23, 1949, in Rockbridge County the youngest of nine children by Terry and Ruth Martin.

Christine was a devoted wife and mother. She was a personal housekeeper for many families over the years. She enjoyed live music, dancing and gardening.  Later in life, her joy came from helping raise her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, "Buck" Terry; her brothers, Robert "Thomas" Martin, Evans Martin and Morris Martin; her sisters Verna Newell, Lillian Harlass, Daisy Kirby and Audrey Powell; and her sister/best friend, Betty Lou Mays.

Surviving are her daughter, Crystal Terry (Robert Holland); grandchildren, Haley Sky Taylor and Corey "Buck" Taylor; step-children, Patty Higgins, Debbie Painter, Diane Jones and Audra White; and several nephews and nieces.

The family would like to thank Hope Wilmore and the team of ConnectionsPlus Healthcare + Hospice for their help, compassion and care during this difficult time.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, at Harrison Funeral Home.  The burial will be private.
