HELEN HIGGINS

Helen Louise Bryant Higgins, 75, of Lexington went to her heavenly home Wednesday, June 4, 2025, surrounded by her family. 

Born Sept. 14, 1949, in Charlottesville, she was a daughter of Lloyd Eugene Bryant and Lucille Johnson Bryant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Higgins, and brother, Richard Bryant.

Helen was a lifetime member of the Lexington Pentecostal Holiness Church and a member of the Kerrs Creek Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Helen leaves behind her children, Kenton Higgins and Heather Leigh Bowyer; two sisters, Betty McLain and Linda Smith (Billy); one brother, Bill Bryant (Sandy); three grandchildren, Katlyn (Brian), Colten and Brianna; one great-grandchild, Harper; canine companion, Buddy; and many nieces and nephews.

Helen’s family would like to send their heartfelt thanks to ConnectionsPlus Healthcare+Hospice and the members of the Kerrs Creek Fire & Rescue for all their love and support.

Per Helen's wishes, there will be a celebration of life service at a later date.
