Jerry Randolph “Randy” Moore Sr., 58, of Buena Vista died Thursday, May 29, 2025.

Born May 11, 1967, he was a son of Wanda Thomas Hodges and the late Henry Moore.

Jerry was previously employed by C.W. Hurt construction. He loved NASCAR, hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Moore.

Surviving are his wife, Cheryl Moore; children Charles Fitzgerald Sr., Marsha Fitzgerald and Jerry Randolph Moore Jr. and Dustin Lee Moore; 15 grandchildren, including two special granddaughters, Khloe “Sweetie Pie” Moore and Lilian “Chicken” Moore; and a half-sister, Tammy Ramsey.

A memorial service was conducted Tuesday, June 3, at Faith Baptist Church by Pastor Terry Bostic.

Arrangements were by Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory. NG
