He was born Oct. 24, 1955, in Rockbridge County, the son of Grover Chittum and Elsie Woods Chittum.

Surviving are his wife, Judy Chittum; children, Stacy Marshall and Allen Chittum Jr.; five grandchildren; brother, Gary Chittum; and sisters, Vickie and Robin.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 13, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by Brother Dorsey Hostetter. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
