Winnie Lois Dudley Wood, 91, of Buena Vista went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 31, 2025. 

She was born on Sept. 15, 1933, in Buena Vista, a daughter of Racey and Anna Mae Lynn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Norris Ryland Dudley, and her second husband, Robert Wood.  Lois was also preceded in death by two sisters, Jackie Price and Alice Painter. Lois has two surviving brothers, Galen Lynn and Ronald Lynn.

Lois has five surviving children, Norris “Eddie” Dudley (Cindy), Marsha Hamilton, Philip Dudley, Tracey Pullin, and Charlotte Clark (Norman).  Along with her five children, the Lord has blessed Lois with eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. 

Lois was a member of FirstBrethren Church in Buena Vista.  She was employed at Knights Store for many years.

The family of Winnie Lois Wood would send a heartfelt thank you out to all the amazing employees who took great care of her at Heritage Hall Nursing Home. 

The funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by Dorsey Hostetter and Pastor Dean Staton. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
