Mrs. Fay Spangler Hill of Natural Bridge Station passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the age of 91.

Fay was preceded in death by her parents, Otho and Beatrice Via Spangler; her loving husband of 68 years, Floyd A. Hill; her son, John Stanley Hill; special granddaughter, Margo “Nickie” Hill; brother, Otho “Sonny” Spangler (Barbara) and sister, Betty Jane Huffman (Billy); niece and nephews, Selena Breedlove, Robert Spangler and Kevin Spangler; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law

Fay is survived by her special great-granddaughter, Juliana Lay of Syracuse, N.Y.;

sister-in-law Alma Reid of Buena Vista; numerous nieces and nephews and special friend, Lucy Strowbridge.

Fay was a member of Natural Bridge Fellowship Christian Church, enjoyed being a homemaker for most of her life and was an excellent cook. She loved having family dinners for the Hill and Spangler families. Fay loved her Lord and even though she will be missed, it is comforting to know she is in Heaven with her beloved Floyd, Stanley and Nickie.

A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 20, at 2 p.m. at RockbridgeMemorial Gardens by the Rev. David Bain and the Rev. Nathan Phillips.
