Born May 13, 1946, in Lexington, she was a daughter of James Lawrence Smith and Margaret May Mays Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Smith, and a great-grandchild.

Mildred retired from housekeeping at Hampton Inn.

Surviving are her children, Mark Smith, Missy Smith, Kevin Smith and Angela Smith; one brother, Carl Smith Jr.; one sister, Alene Slough; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and lots of other family and friends that were special and dear.

A memorial service will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at 25 Rolling Meadow Drive, Lexington.
