Jane Marie Sanderson, 67, also known as Bird, of Buena Vista, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Shenandoah Valley Health and RehabCenter.  She was the daughter of the late Claude Daniel and Ruth Elizabeth Sanderson.

She was preceded in death by her stepsister, Priscilla “Peachy” Spinner, and niece Esther Spinner.

Surviving are her three sisters, Linda Brown, Georgianna Fields (Reginald), and Claudette Carter; two brothers, Claude David Sanderson (Debbie) and Christopher Sanderson; also a very special sister friend, Rita Carter; special friends, Pamela and Anthony Mason, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. 

A memorial ceremony will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by Pastor Danta Johnson.
