Clara Ecalean Entsminger, 99, of Lexington, died Tuesday, April 8, 2025. 

Born March 27, 1926, she was a daughter of  the late John Houston Frazier and Rachel Ballard Frazier.

Also preceding her in death were her spouse, Lloyd Colby Entsminger; and siblings Thelma Hall, Ira Frazier, Dave Frazier, Ammen "Sparky" Frazier and John Wayne Frazier.

Ecalean, in earlier years, worked at Happy House Gift Shop and Hess Jewelry Store. In her spare time, she loved to read and quilt.

Surviving are her sister, Barbara Durham; special niece and caregiver Wanda McDaniel; special nephew Colby Durham; long-time friend Carrie VanNess; nieces, nephews and all of her wonderful Green Hill neighbors.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 14, at Collierstown Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Burr Datz.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will visit with friends before the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Collierstown Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, 31 Church Drive, Lexington, VA 24450.
