She was the daughter of James Robert Sensabaugh and Elsie Riley Sensabaugh.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Daniel (Dan) Rucker Smith Sr.; a son, Daniel (Danny) Rucker Smith Jr.; brothers Otho Sensabaugh, Amos Sensabaugh, Robert Sensabaugh and Buck Sensabaugh; and sisters, Fannie Ayers and Mary Rutledge.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Smith Craft; a granddaughter, Lora Christine Craft; and two brothers, Brown Sensabaugh of Buena Vista and Andy Sensabaugh of North Carolina.

She was a member of the Lauderdale A.R. Presbyterian Church.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Benjamin Dowling officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Lauderdale A.R. Presbyterian Church, 300 S. Main St., Lexington VA 24450.
