Born Nov. 2, 1943, he was the son of Roy Hodges and Ethel Wilcher Hodges.

Also preceding him in death were his wife, Catherine Milliner Hodges, and two siblings.

Surviving are his daughter Carolyn Hodges; and siblings, Lillian Noel, Darless Catalan, Ardena Hodges and Roger Hodges.
