The community “trunk or treat” event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the field across from the Effinger Volunteer Fire Department.

There will be a cakewalk to benefit Rise against Hunger and the Challenger baseball league in Roanoke for disabled children. Cake donations are needed.
