THE TOWN OF GLASGOW (Town) is seeking proposals from qualified professional engineering firms (Firm) to provide comprehensive engineering services related to lead service line inventory program management. It is anticipated that one firm will be selected to provide services requested using the competitive negotiation procedure for professional services, as outlined in the Virginia Procurement Act. The work will generally include, but shall not be limited to, lead inventory mapping, lead service line replacement plan development, school and daycare sampling, permitting, design, construction administration, funding procurement assistance, etc. Proposals received from interested Firms will be evaluated for their professional qualifications, experience, and competence necessary for the completion of the requested services. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (small or minority and/or women owned firms) are encouraged to submit proposals. City of Lexington Notice of Public Hearing Amendment of Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be conducted by the Lexington City Council on Thursday,February 15, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. during its regular meeting, held in the first-floor meeting room of the Rockbridge County Administrative Offices, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, Virginia,to solicit input on Ordinance 202402 amending theFY 2024 budget from $52,110,243 to $52,198,311. This ordinance proposes appropriating $36,517 to General Government Administration for expenses associated with the 2024 Presidential Primary ($17,622) and server license requirements for the City ($18,895). In addition, the School Board has requested an appropriation of $51,551 from their reserve funds for Future Capital Needs to include locker repairs, painting, and lighting replacements. The proposed ZTA also includes modifications to Section 603B.03 to provide for Recreation, Indoor as a use by special exception in the A-T District, as well as modifications to Section 605.02 to provide for Recreation, Indoor as a permitted use in the B-1 District.
