Clemmer Records 1,000th Dig

Jaydyn Clemmer, a 2021 Rockbridge County High School graduate who is a junior libero for the James Madison University volleyball team, recorded her 1,000th career dig and was named to the Sun Belt Conference all-tournament team after JMU’s 3-1 loss to Coastal Carolina in the finals on Sunday evening in Foley, Ala.

Jaydyn Clemmer, a 2021 Rockbridge County High School graduate who is a junior libero for the James Madison University volleyball team, recorded her 1,000th career dig and was named to the Sun Belt Conference all-tournament team after JMU’s 3-1 loss to Coastal Carolina in the finals on Sunday evening in Foley, Ala.

Clemmer collected 21 digs in the finals. In three matches in the tournament, she recorded 70 digs.

The Dukes (21-6) will wait to see if they advance to the NCAA Division I tournament. Coastal Carolina (22-9) clinched the Sun Belt Conference’s automatic bid. For updates, visit www.jmusports. com.

While at RC, Clemmer helped the Wildcats win four Valley District titles and a Region 3C title. As a senior, she was named Valley District player of the year and was an all-state first team selection.
