City OKs Permit For W&L Health Center
Lexington City Council voted last week to approve a conditional use permit for Washington and Lee University to build a new student health center on East Denny Circle on the university’s campus. Winter Storm Heading Here This Weekend
An incoming weather system is expected to bring potentially dangerous conditions to the Rockbridge area over the weekend. According to a hazardous weather outlook issued by the National Weather Service for southwest and west central Virginia, winter precipitation is likely Saturday and Sunday. Travel is expected to be impacted. As of Tuesday, the National Weather Service forecasts a 100% chance of precipitation Saturday with rain, snow and sleet, becoming all snow after 10 on Sat- urday night.
