W&L Winter Choral Concert Next Tuesday
Washington and Lee University’s Cantatrici and the Glee Club will present a winter choral concert Tuesday, March 18, at 8 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall.
The widely diverse music and creative concert will be centered around Johann Sebastian Bach’s only surviving chorale cantata, “Christ lag in Todesbanden,” performed with orchestra.
Also included in the concert will be works from around the world for tenor/bass and treble choir, programmed and conducted by Dr. Shane M. Lynch, professor Lacey R. Lynch and members of W&L’s Choral Conducting Mentorship Program.
