The Glasgow Public Library will host Rockbridge authors John Muncie and Jody Jaffe for a presentation on Monday, March 10, at 6 p.m.
The husband and wife team will discuss their writing lives and their newest releases. Muncie co-authored the novel “The Royals” with Ron Kolb. Jaffe’s latest work “Commander Speaks” is set in Rockbridge County. A book signing will follow.
Jody Jaffe is a long-time journalist who was on a team at the Charlotte Observer that won the Gold Medal Pulitzer Prize for Public Service for its Jim and Tammy Bakker coverage.
John Muncie is also a long-time journalist. Among other positions, he’s been an assistant managing editor at the San Diego Union-Tribune; a travel editor, writer and columnist with The Los Angeles Times.
Together, Jaffe and Muncie have co-authored two novels, “Thief of Words,” and “Shenandoah Summer.” More recently, they shared their time and talent leading the Glasgow Library’s Writing Group.
