The Collierstown Presbyterian Women would like to thank the community for the support received during the 2025 Blanket Sunday Campaign conducted during the month of January. This year a total of $2,072 was received making it possible to purchase 207 blankets for distribution by Church World Service in the United States and internationally.
The Collierstown United Methodist Men will hold their monthly breakfast at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, at the church. All are encouraged to come and enjoy the good food and fellowship.
An all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner will be hosted by the Collierstown United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. The meal will include spaghetti, tossed salad, bread, dessert and assorted beverages. Meals will be offered as a “dine-in” or “take out” eating experience. The cost of the meal is by donation.
Rockbridge Can (Rockbridge Connect and Nourish) will provide a free community dinner at the Palmer Community Center (1230 B lue G rass T rain, L exington) on Wednesday, March 19, from 6 to 7 p.m. The meal will be catered by the Lexington Catering Company and served dine-in style. Those needing transportation may call (540) 463-3346 to arrange a free ride to and from the meal.
The celebration of life service for former Collierstown resident Janette Coleman has been rescheduled
for Saturday, April 5, at the Collierstown Presbyterian
Church.
