Congratulations to Parry McCluer High School senior swimmer Olive King, who won regional titles in the girls’ 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle at the Region 1C and 2C meet on Thursday night at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center. King won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:59.28 and claimed the 500-yard freestyle for the second year in a row, finishing in 5:33.08. PM’s lone swimmer, King will compete in the Class 1 and 2 meet next Saturday, Feb. 22 at the SwimRVA Collegiate School Aquatics Center in Richmond.
