In a hard-fought contest, the Parry McCluer High School boys basketball team came up short 67-65 to Gretna at the Rock the Ribbon Roundball Shootout on Saturday morning at Rockbridge County High School.
The Fighting Blues (11-4) will return to Pioneer District action on Wednesday when they play host to Eastern Montgomery, starting with junior varsity action at 5:30 p.m.
