Volunteers with Walkers Creek Fire & EMS once again smoked ham and pork tenderloin for area residents’ Christmas dinners during December. The fire department has been using a smoker to cook up various meats up to four to five times a year over the past decade as a fundraiser, and since the pandemic, it’s been the department’s major fundraiser.
