Glasgow Public Library presents “Publishing Tips with Beth Staples” on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 11 a.m. The program will offer a brief overview of how the publishing process works; how to find an agent; and how to submit to literary magazines with Q&A to follow. The program is in collaboration with Washington and Lee University’s Office of Community Based Learning.
Staples is an assistant professor of English at W&L. She serves as the editor of the university’s literary magazine, Shenandoah. She has won several awards for literary fiction, including NELLE’s Three Sisters Prize for Clitastrophe.
