The Local History Center of Rockbridge Regional Library System will offer a free middle school-aged children’s class, “Detective Power: Explore. Discover. Connect,” facilitated by Melissa Davis. The class will use FamilySearch to find their family’s history.
The dates are Jan. 27 from 4 to 5 p.m.; Feb. 3, from 4 to 5 p.m.; and Feb. 10, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Lexington branch. Students must collect and bring information about their families, such as siblings’, parents’, and grandparents’ names, dates and birthplaces, to the class.
