Winners of the Lexington Christmas Parade recently gathered at Sweet Treats to accept their awards. They are (from left) Margaret Shester and Evelyn Branscome of the Rockbridge Ballet, which won for best performance; Bill Ramsey and Allison Licona-Asto, winners of the best vehicle award for Bill’s 1923 Model T - T Bucket; Dr. Abbott Keesee, LDMS principal, accepting the award for best band on behalf of Karen Doyle, band director; and accepting the award for best float for Rockbridge Music (Betty and the Hotflashes) were members Martha Buford (seated) and (behind her) Tasha Walsh, Dianna Schofield and Amanda Baxter.
