The North Rockbridge Art League will hold its second annual Arts in the Baths on Dec. 14 at the barn at Wades Mill in Raphine. The showcase and sale will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sixteen artists will be presenting their works, including fine art oil paintings, watercolor, rock sculpture, pottery, jewelry, cards, picture books and intricate felted works of art.
The first Arts in the Baths was held at the Rockbridge Baths firehouse in 2023 and was very well attended. The move to Wades Mill allows for more artists to present as well as being located more conveniently.
The Art League was formed in 2023 to provide a group for inclusion, inspiration, encouragement and collegiality in Rockbridge County. All artists in the county are encouraged to join. The group meets bi-monthly beginning in January and hosts a variety of programs and visits to galleries and studios.
