A special service of music, prayer and hope, “Light in the Darkness,” will be offered Sunday, Dec. 8, at 5 p.m., at Grace Episcopal Church in Lexington.
The holiday season is not always a happy time for everyone, said a church spokeswoman. Many experience emotional turmoil, difficult life transitions and the pain of loss, and are in need of healing. Open to all, this special program is offered to help people who are dealing with these difficult issues.
“Additionally, perhaps you or someone you know simply seeks a moment of quiet, contemplative music and prayer in the midst of the holiday bustle. Light in the Darkness offers that moment,” the spokeswoman said. “If you know of someone who might want to attend, please share this message with them, or better, invite them to come to the service with you.”
