Kerrs Creek

Rachel Clark, (630) 607-9938 RevRachelClark@gmail. com Sunday was the first day of Advent ‒ a season of waiting and expectation. Thank you to Steve Garrett for lighting the first Advent candle of the season at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church. Thank you to Laura Hotinger and Dianne Swink for providing music. This coming Sunday is the Clark Christmas Open House! Come by anytime between 2 and 4 p.m. Bring a friend and come enjoy cookies and snacks!

Lunch Bunch will be at church this month on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 12 noon. Let Rachel know if you are able to come so they will have correct numbers for food.

The choir will present the Christmas cantata on Sunday, Dec. 15, during the 11 a.m. service. A reception with finger foods will follow. Please let Sarah Burleson know if you’d like to provide a snack or treat. Everyone is invited for Christmas caroling and a cookie exchange on Thursday, Dec. 19, at 2 p.m. at church. We will break up into groups and head out to sing to some of our homebound loved ones. On Dec. 22 we will have a “pop-up Nativity” during the 11 a.m. service. Come, grab a costume and join in.

Please join us for the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Tuesday, Dec. 24, at 5 p.m.
