Updated information has been received on the results of the Oct. 26 Chessie Trail marathon that was reported in the Nov. 13 newspaper. The person who was originally reported as the winner was disqualified so the runner declared to be the winner now is Jonathan Annis, 43, who completed the course in 3 hours, 4 minutes and 35.95 seconds. Michael Stowe, 54, placed second in 3:10:47.44. Finishing third was Ethan Bredeman, 22, in 3:18:22.46.
Also, the non-binary overall award winners of the 5-kilometer race were inadvertently omitted from the original article. The winner of the non-binary division was Gianmarco Parrillo, 22, in 32:07.27, while Amanda Miller, 22, placed second in the division in 36:42.47.
