The North Rockbridge Art League and Friends will hold its second annual Arts in the Baths on Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be held at the barn at Wades Mill in conjunction with the North Rockbridge Trail.
This will be a showcase and sale by 15 local artists whose works include fine art oil paintings, sculpture, watercolor, pottery, jewelry, note cards and Christmas cards, picture books and intricate felted works of art. A food truck will be located next to the Mill.
The first showcase and sale at the Rockbridge Baths firehouse in December 2023 was very well-attended, said a spokesperson. The move to Wades Mill allows for more artists to present as well as being located more conveniently in the heart of the Trail.
Beginning as a small group of business owners in Fairfield in 2014, the North Rockbridge Trail was officially founded in 2019. Connecting over 20 small businesses in the northern part of the county, the Trail offers a unique food, drink and shopping experience that draws both locals and visitors alike.
