The town of Goshen will hold its annual Christmas parade on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 4 p.m.
The parade will begin at the old school building on Virginia Avenue (Va. 39) and travel along its usual parade route up Main Street and down Maury River Road to Victoria Lane on the southern end of town. Following the parade, Santa Claus will be at the Goshen firehouse to visit with anyone who would like to stop by.
The Goshen Fire Department, meanwhile, is once again holding its annual toy drive for children in the town of Goshen. Distribution of the gifts will take place at the firehouse beginning at 1 p.m. on Dec. 8.
The town will also hold a Christmas light contest for town residents. Judging for the contest will be held on Dec. 20 starting at 7 p.m.
