The annual Christmas parade, sponsored by the Glasgow First Aid Crew, is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7, at 4 p.m.
This year’s theme is “Tell The Story.” Lineup begins at 3 p.m. at 10th Street and Rockbridge Road, Va. 130, next to the carwash.
Those transporting horses for the parade are asked to park their trailers in the lot across from the carwash.
The parade route remains the same as in the past, entering Va. 130 from 12th Street and proceeding to Blueridge Road, turning left, traveling to Powhatan Street, turning right at the library and ending just up the street, just above the first aid building.
Following the parade, everyone is invited to the first aid building on McCulloch Street where Santa will be waiting to see children. Refreshments will be served and parade awards will be given out.
For more information, call the parade chairman, Larry Spangler, at (540) 460-6903.
