Southern Virginia University is planning several Christmas events this season, all of which are free to the general public.
First up is the Christmas Forum on Dec. 6 at 11 a.m. in the Knight Arena. Jon Schmidt from the Piano Guys will perform Christmas music and speak at the annual event.
Lessons and Carols will be presented by SVU choirs on Sunday, Dec. 8, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lexington. The Christmas music and hymns will be performed by the Southern Virginia University Chamber Singers, Men’s Chorus and Bella Voce.
“Christmas on the Hill” will return on Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the Knight Arena. The event will feature SVU’s choirs and orchestras.
